Take a tour of our wholesale mattress warehouse to learn more about what makes us different than other wholesale mattress manufacturers. Our family owned factory and handmade, affordable beds have been making our customers in the hospitality industry happy for over half a century!
A Wholesale Mattress Warehouse With a History
Beloit Mattress has a story, unlike most national brand name manufacturers. It starts in 1929 when the Clark family opened a small mattress factory in Beloit, Wisconsin. The family produced some of the first made-in-the-USA innerspring mattresses during the Great Depression and the decade following. About 25 years later, local businessman Donald Poppie bought the business and continued to run it with his family. After 85 years in operation, not much has changed. Beloit Mattress Company continues to be a family-owned business and makes handcrafted mattresses and sells them directly to residential customers and also has wholesale beds for sale.

Hand Tufting Quality Mattresses Takes Time
Each order for our hotel, dorm, or other wholesale customer is different. No matter how large the order, we take our time making every single mattress. While other wholesale mattress manufacturers can make beds quickly by placing them on a mechanical assembly line, we hand tuft every order, meaning we stitch the entire mattress to keep the filling in place and ensure superior support throughout the mattress. This takes several skilled workers several hours, but the result is a durable, longer-lasting mattress.
Can another wholesale mattress center make them faster? Maybe. Can another wholesale mattress center make them better? Not a chance.
Quality Materials Go Into Each Mattress
Every mattress we make for our wholesale mattress customers is built from durable materials that have withstood the test of time, and each component is made right here in the U.S.A.
ComfortCore® Fabric-Encased Innersprings by Leggett and Platt
These comfortable, contouring and durable springs are individually wrapped to isolate motion transfer, and each coil flexes and moves independently to deliver support where needed most. The strength and resilience of Leggett and Platt coils is just one element that makes our factory-direct mattresses last. All of our steel mattress springs are produced in either Sheboygan, WI, or Batavia, IL.
CertiPUR Certified Polyfoams
All of our foams meet strict standards for content, emissions, and durability and are manufactured in Portage, WI. CertiPUR Certified means our foams are:
- Made without ozone depleters
- Made without PBDEs, TDCPP or TCEP (”Tris”) flame retardants
- Constructed without mercury, lead, and other heavy metals
- Formaldehyde-free
- Made without phthalates
- Regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission
- Low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions for indoor air quality (less than 0.5 parts per million)
Pure Joma Wool
Using wool in our mattresses helps to keep our beds dry by wicking away moisture. This limits conditions that lead to mold growth, allowing you to use your mattresses longer. Our wool comes from Memphis, TN.
Every Beloit Employee Knows Our Building Process
When you speak with anyone at Beloit Mattress who answers the phone, helps you at the front desk, or greets you in our showroom, you can ask them any questions you have about our manufacturing process. That’s because each of our employees spends time in our wholesale mattress warehouse either making or watching us make quality beds. That doesn’t often happen when shopping for wholesale beds for sale.
