The Beloit Mattress Company is proud to support Bags & Wags Cornhole Tournament 2026 in Janesville.
It’s a local fundraiser hosted by the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin at Willowdale Tavern on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
This is the kind of community effort we are honored to stand behind because it brings people together around a meaningful local cause and helps support animals in need right here in southern Wisconsin.
The Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin has deep roots in the Janesville area. Its history goes back to 1910, and the organization describes itself as an independent community shelter with more than one third of its annual budget coming from private donations and fundraising.
That makes events like Bags & Wags more than just a day on the calendar. They help provide real support for a local organization that depends on community involvement to continue its work.
How The Beloit Mattress Company Supports Bags & Wags Cornhole Tournament 2026
The Beloit Mattress Company is proud to be part of that support. The Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin lists The Beloit Mattress Company among this year’s Bags & Wags sponsors, which reflects our commitment to backing community-centered causes in the Stateline region, including Janesville.
As a 5th-generation, family-owned and operated company that has been handcrafting mattresses in Beloit since 1929, we believe local business should mean more than serving an area. It should also mean caring about the people, organizations, and causes that help shape that area into a stronger place to live. That is part of who we are, and it is one reason this sponsorship matters to us.
This support is especially meaningful because of what the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin represents. Their work helps animals in need, supports adoptions, and keeps compassion at the center of the local conversation.
We are proud to support the Adopt, Don’t Shop movement and the belief that animals deserve safe care and the chance to be placed in loving homes. When an organization is doing that kind of work in the Janesville community, we are grateful for the chance to stand behind it.
Why This Support Matters in Janesville
Janesville is home to people who care deeply about local organizations, community events, and the well-being of animals in their area. Bags & Wags reflects that spirit well.
The event gives the community a way to gather, have fun, and support the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin through participation, raffle activity, and local sponsorships, all while keeping the focus on a cause that matters. The event page notes cornhole, raffle opportunities, food, drinks, and a dog-friendly setting, which helps make it both welcoming and community-centered.
For us, that is what an In the Community post should highlight. It is not just that an event is happening. It is that local people, local businesses, and a local nonprofit are coming together in a way that creates visible community impact.
The cause is the hero. The organization is the reason. Our role is simply to be one of the businesses proud to help support that effort. Community involvement should feel sincere, and this one does.
Community involvement should feel sincere, and this one does. The Beloit Mattress Company is honored to support Bags & Wags in Janesville and the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin because this sponsorship reflects the kind of local care, compassion, and shared responsibility that makes communities stronger over time.
